After doing some research for options to put a thermometer in the server room that would allow a mechanism for temperature alerts, he quickly discovered that these monitoring systems were extremely expensive and provided features which he really didn't need. He wanted a solution that was able to read temperatures accurately of the room, not sensors on a specific machine or sensors that provided more functionality than he needed.
